Holding cash.

All systems are producing hold signals today, keeping my Composite system parked in cash. That's quite alright with me. I don't have a single clue what's going to happen tomorrow. See ya then.

  1. Wow, TNA is getting crunched!

  2. It sure is. It was in a triangle on the daily chart and it seems to be breaking out of it to the downside. Futures are down too, and so is gold and bonds. Interesting.

  3. And J, I'd also be interested in your answer to Lana's question. Since you're the developer of the system, your actual investments would be educational to the rest of us.

  4. Did I miss something? Which question exactly?

  5. About whether you invest solely in the Composite System.

  6. Ah, now I see it. Yes, most of the time. But there are times when I favor one system over the other. I usually mention that when it occurs, but I will try to do better... Right now, I think JTS is going to win. (I think we're going up) But I'm not completely convinced which is why I'm sticking to cash.

  7. Don't discount the wisdom of CCI (or the Composite). Have you seen the futures this morning?

  8. Needless to say, things can change.

  9. True! And now the CCI is (at the very least) going to cover the short position. This means at a minimum the Composite is going 50% long on the close.

  10. 5-min chart looks like a slippery slope, but I think I'm going to pick up my first lot of TNA here.

  11. I have been watching like a hawk the 765.05 RUT daily low of 7/24 as the "run from the room screaming signal" and we came oh so close. Have a starting position in TNA now. Wanting to see your call, cause the BIG Jobs # happens before opening tomorrow.

    Thanks for answering my question.
