Hold signals.

JTS is extremely close to a short signal today but it's going to barely miss. It will generate a hold signal keeping it 100% long.  The CCI meanwhile remains short.  JT Comp will remain in cash.  I'll be on the sidelines for at least another day.  See ya tomorrow.

  1. Maybe with the new highs today, JTS will hit a short...

Unless some other underlying fundamentals are now different :D

  2. JTS is in fact shorting today. Given the fact that AM strength is often reversed in the PM on employment days, I already opened a partial TZA position. We'll see.

    1. Would you consider a UVXY play yet?

    2. Well, speculative play...

Took a small position in UVXY at $6.06

Hoping for some volatility towards the end of the day or on Monday. Won't make much (small position), but if it spikes I would like to enjoy some reward.

Volatility in general is dropping back to all time lows again, so I thought a small position to hold over the next week or 2 might be ok... lets see a pop !!!

  3. Hi J thanks to my long term system betting long for 3x I have no damage on my account just my short term trading system stayed short for SDS but bad day for people who don,t take hedge protection. Using SHORT,MEDIUM,and LONG TERM system always works

    Best regards

  4. Alex, remember that we all agreed to post our trades before, or at the time, they happen. It's really not helpful to all of a sudden bring up a long-term system that has been long all along. I agree with you about the desirability of using short, medium, and long-term system (and have posted a comment to that effect), but I don't think that it helps to suddenly salvage a bad trade by referring to an unannounced good trade.

  5. if you go to my earlier post one month ago about my long short and medium term trading systems remember i mentioned making bullet proof betting agains each others and you had told me no system is bullet proof now you would have understood everything posted before it happened

  6. I remember that, but I remember no real time posts of when you took long-term and intermediate-term trades. If they are there, then the fault is mine. And I don't mean a general post about hedging, I mean specific dates when long-term and intermediate-term positions are entered and exited. Again, if you've done so, my apologies for failing to notice.
