Hold signals...

All systems remain short. I'll continue to hold my 90% TZA position. Thanks!

    1. And she did the right thing... "ideally what you want to see is the mkt to hammer down for a few minutes right outta the gate tomorrow on FOMC ann't." 5 minutes of steady sell, right outta the gate.

YM now -75... on top of today's -206 ... I'm nibblin' longs already down here.

    1. Except he sold his today... I wonder if that is a precursor to a cash or buy signal today...

  4. I just noticed that. Maybe J will explain why.

    1. I took the hint and sold half mine at $33... might think about a XIV play on a volatility retraction through a low volume (POMO) float up...

    2. Just to throw my last remaining two cents into the mix, it appears to me, and I don't like saying this, that volatility is set to increase over the next month or so. I note that VVIX has been putting in higher lows and higher highs for six weeks now, the most recent of which is now looking like it came in yesterday.

    3. Thanks for the info Michele.

My stop is going to be a decisive SPX move below 1600 or close below 1600. I think that is the battle line between bulls and bears right now. If the bears win, I sell. No biggie.

      Glad you're back!

  5. FWIW, the body of today's SPY candle is now half out of its lower BB.

    1. Doesn't mean it has to bounce, it could just go sideways and move into the band over the next couple days.

      I hope it bounces :D

  6. So what do we sell today? TZA or TNA? 36% of my portfolio is in TNA, and 32% in TZA. Unconventional, crazy allocation for sure.
