Hold signal confirmed.

A relatively boring day... I added some TVIX shorts to add to my "long" position. I'm now up to 50% long in my account and 50% cash. Good evening!

  1. Just out of curiosity, is there some reason you short TVIX rather than going long XIV?

  2. how about a better question...

Who just pumped about $500B into the market in the last 45 mins?

  3. Michele,

Just to mix it up. Usually there are no shares available for shorting, but this time there were so I grabbed 'em.

  6. Hey, all you TNA traders really should check out this post that just came out: http://www.thestockmasters.com/BULLS-TNA-09122011. Looks like someone else is bullish TNA too.

  7. Thanks Michele. However, after reading Cobra's post and some Rob Hanna offerings, my bullishness the next 1-3 days is subdued. On the bright side, the futures have recovered nicely.

  8. Well of course everything is news-driven right now. The technicals don't seem to count for much. All it will take is another rumor that the Chinese basketball team is buying Venezualan sneakers, or that the ECB's secretary's dry cleaner has raised its rates to send the market down again.

In the meantime, TNA is up 3.75% today so far. Not too shabby.
