Hold signal.

3:50p: No buy signal today, although we are close. Hold is confirmed.

11:15am: We are flirting with a strong buy signal today, which is the first buy signal I've seen since we flipped into unhealthy mode. Could be something good brewing here...

  3. With the VIX at these insane levels, anything's possible. I sure didn't see today's breakdown coming.

  5. I mentioned on Monday that we are in a breather and thats about it. Should have started taking losses when TNA was near 50. Your not going to see that price again.

  9. Law, are you even a trader or a person who only listens to what someone else says when you make a trade. J-trader has a great system but doesn't mean you should just throw your own due diligence out the door. Should use your own judgement. Did you understand what was said during the fed numbers yesterday. Basically, they said we are in another recession, and with all the current fed numbers, the proper level for the Emini futures is around 900. We will go to that area until the FED starts a QE3, which looks like they are plotting something like it. I'm not perfect trader either, I lost I nice penny today in the market, but I know when to take losses and call it a day. Taking a 20+ loss in a trade when the stock is under $100.00 is quite extreme.

  11. All I have given to the board is the current market situation and what to expect, only trying to help everyone minimize losses, in the current market situation, but ok I will cease and assist from speaking anymore and mentioning the market. Good Day..

that doesn't sound like it to me.

  13. Chris, your market comments and observations are welcome. Although I have to disagree with your call that we won't see TNA 50 again. That's a bit naive don't ya think? We were just at 45 and change yesterday. It's 3x leveraged and won't take much to get back into the 50's. I would say we might not see 60 again... that is a bit more reasonable.

Anywho, ES is up 15. Time for the bulls to fight back. Bearishness is at extremes. A rally to the 200-day is not out of the question.

  14. TNA to 50? I don't think that's much of a reach. I'll even claim here (since this isn't my blog) that if tomorrow is not down, we'll see TNA at 50 by Monday.

  15. Chris and Law87, we are all in here together because we believed JT's model have certain value. so no need to get into shouting match.

Actually, as traders, we shall be glad to hear opinions from different perspectives. Chris's comments lately has been quite accurate and shown his good understanding of the market. I like to hear more from Chris not less.

Understand that many in this board (me included) are quite stressful due to the last signal. however, only willing to hear different voice will help us to better ourselves.

I am still holding my $80 TNA for now:-)
