No changes today, I will continue to hold TZA. To update from a previous post, I'm still working out some kinks with a new volatility trading method that should go live in 2014 - trading XIV, VXX, or UVXY. I've found the same rules work very well for gold miners (GDX) as well, which means I'll be dabbling in DUST/NUGT. Coincidentally, the GDX test system went long NUGT on the open today, looking for a 10% gain as a trigger to exit. In the future, the target will likely be set at 5%. Get in, get a quick 5%, get out. 100% short TNA

CCI flips back to short today, and with JTS already short the JT Composite system is moving back into a full short position. I'll follow along with a 75% TZA purchase. Thx and have a good weekend!

Both systems are going to cover their short positions, but neither will go long yet. This puts the JT Composite back into cash. I will sell my TZA and VXX for a decent profit.... for a change! :)

I'm working on a new system which trades volatility. Feels good to be back in development mode after coasting the past 1-2 years. More on this project later.

CCI is coming into line with the JTS on the short side. The JT Composite flips to full short. I'll be buying some TZA on the close, and may even dabble with some VXX depending on my mood. Thanks and good luck!
